We all know health care is a problem in America; this map shows us the nasty linkages between obesity, deadening office work, shit, and agribusiness. Perhaps it will help us solve our problems. I don’t think the profusion of lunch platters from pharmaceutical reps is helping.

The Housing Bubble

I prepared this map as a teaching aid for my economics class, when we were studying the 2008 financial crisis and the securitization of housing debt. It shows some of the relationships among elements of the financial system during the housing bubble, when mortgages were packaged and sold as Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) and insured by Credit Default Swaps (CDS).
